SEMH KS3 TEACHER

Are you a dedicated and versatile teacher with a passion for inspiring young minds in a SEMH school setting? We are seeking a KS3 General Teacher with experience in managing challenging behaviour and a deep understanding of students' mental health needs. Your strong teaching skills and ability to connect with students will play a vital role in their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across various subjects for KS3 students.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using strategies that support positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEMH needs.
  • Collaborate with the wider teaching team and mental health professionals to provide holistic support.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.
