Head of Purchasing

My client are a prominent FMCG products supplier and manufacturer based in Gloucester, they currently have a rare but exciting opportunity for a Head of Purchasing to join their team.

The Role

• Implementation of supply chain processes
• SIOP (sales, inventory, operations, planning)
• Supplier management strategy
• Negotiation of supply chain agreements
• Budgets & reporting
• Analysis of buying costs
• Continuous improvement
• Manage & train supply chain team
• Sourcing & Vendor management

The Candidate

• Previous experience in management
• Previous experience in sourcing & procurement
• Understanding of the FMCG market
• Proficient in data interpretation
• Proficient in excel
