Location: Macclesfield

Salary: £100- £150 per day (depending on experience)

Job Type: Full time, part time, flexible (permanent contract for the right candidate)

We are currently working with a popular and excellent Secondary School based in Macclesfield who are recruiting for Cover Supervisors to join their ranks asap!

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage secondary school students during teacher absences, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
• Deliver pre-set lesson plans and maintain classroom discipline at the secondary school level. Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere where secondary school students can thrive academically.
• Adapt to a variety of subjects and year groups within a secondary school setting as required.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure the smooth running of the secondary school day.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
  
  

Requirements:

• Availability from 8:30 to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
• Strong behaviour management skills are essential, particularly in a secondary school context.
• Flexibility to cover a range of secondary school subjects and year groups.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact in a secondary school environment.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a secondary school, is a plus.
• An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position, or willingness to obtain one.
