Monday to Friday, weekly rotation 7am – 3pm & 11am – 7pm + 1 weekend in 4

Award winning contract caterer are looking to strengthen their kitchen brigade with an experienced Sous Chef.  

The successful Sous Chef will be responsible for; 

  • Managing all stations of the kitchen ensuring that all hot & cold foods produced are to the companies high standards
  • Training junior members of the brigade mentoring on cooking practices & food safety
  • Managing stock levels
  • Support back office functions were needed
  • Completing admin functions where needed
  • Working the companies hours; Monday to Friday, weekly rotation 7am – 3pm & 11am – 7pm + 1 weekend in 4

Required experience & characteristics of the Chef

  • Experienced working in a professional kitchen as a Sous Chef
  • Superb knife skills and comfortable boning, rolling, feathering & portioning to spec
  • Reliable & conscientious
  • Good command of the English language
  • Courteous, polite & professional
