The Role
As a Management Accountant, you will assist in posting month-end journals and submitting monthly pension reports and benefit schemes.
Key Responsibilities of this Management Accountant
- Generate monthly managerial financial statements according to the established reporting schedule for various business divisions.
- Produce annual budgets and forecasts.
- Support budget holders with analysis and review of the accounts.
- Create reconciliations for the balance sheet.
- Manage records of fixed assets.
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Produce monthly journal postings to the general ledger
Requirements for this Management Accountant
- At least 2 years' experience ideally within Financial/Commercial or Management Accounts
- Proficiency with various software tools, including spreadsheet and database applications
- The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
