Senior Roadfreight Account Manager

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Senior Roadfreight Account Manager for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Leicester area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of Roadfreight Accounts

o Be the main point of contact for some of our key clients

o Develop relationships with key stakeholders and gain a deep understanding of the client’s requirements

o Using your knowledge and experience to best manage shipment flows and find solutions for the client

o Daily handling of shipments / quotes / queries

• Development and Commercial Awareness o Keep in regular with clients and explore opportunities to grow and maintain our business further

o Understand the commercial implications of how you move shipments

o Have a good understanding of market rates and contacts within the European Roadfreight marketplace

• Integration

o Adopt Company’s unique customer-focussed approach in your day-to-day practices

o Understand the business as a whole and assist in our growth and prosperity

o Work closely with our commercial team as new accounts are onboarded and require integration

o Understand our internal systems, practices and ways of working

General Skills:-

• Ambitions to develop your career further and take on leadership roles as we grow.

• Proven experience in European Roadfreight, ideally 5+ years

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent planning and attention to detail

• Excellent customer service skills and
