We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales department by ensuring smooth administrative processes and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and clients.
Duties
- Communicate with customers, handle enquiries, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Process sales orders and coordinate deliveries.
- Issue sales invoices accurately and on time.
- Raise purchase orders and send them to suppliers.
- Book in deliveries and process purchase invoices.
- Answer general phone calls and assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in a sales administration or similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, would be an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency with administrative systems such as Workplan and Pegasus is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
- Full-Time - Permanent
- £12.16 per hour
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00/8:30 AM to 4:00/4:30 PM and Friday: 8:00/8:30 AM to 2:00/2:30 PM (36 hours per week)
