The Senior Quantity Surveyor's Role
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will manage an exciting portfolio, including high-stakes residential, mixed-use, educational, and façade projects. The role covers end-to-end services from pre-contract budgeting, cost estimation, and preparing tender documents to post-contract financial reporting and client liaison.
Working with a team of 27, including a close-knit commercial team of three, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a crucial role as this department rapidly expands.
This position offers a front-row seat to career progression as the firm prepares for a major growth phase, including a move to larger, modern offices. The Ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor
This role is perfect for a driven Quantity Surveyor ready to step into a senior role or a Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking structured progression. Candidates should possess:
· A degree in Quantity Surveying, ideally RICS-accredited.
· Over 5 years of consultancy experience in quantity surveying or cost management.
· Pre- and post-contract expertise, particularly in the built environment.
· Client-facing confidence and leadership skills.
· MRICS qualification or commitment to achieving it is desirable.
