A unique opportunity has arisen for a Framework Manager to oversee and strengthen a strategic relationship with a key framework provider in the North West of England.
This role is pivotal to ensuring the delivery of high-quality service, driving growth, and build long lasting relationships within the framework.
The position demands strong leadership, excellent business management skills, and a deep understanding of the private utility sector, particularly in relation to the framework provider's operational needs and strategic objectives.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with framework clients and key departments, including Procurement, Health & Safety, Sustainability, and Environmental.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with Tier 1, 2, and 3 contractors involved in Asset Management Plan (AMP) delivery.
- Develop and maintain a project pipeline, sharing updates with internal stakeholders.
- Plan and conduct customer visits efficiently, maintaining accurate records and seeking sustainable business opportunities.
- Establish and review KPIs and SLAs, ensuring compliance with framework agreements and managing financial aspects such as rebates and payment terms.
- Communicate and enforce framework policies and procedures, providing mentoring and knowledge sharing to stakeholders.
- Drive growth & revenue and lead strategies to enhance the customer experience.
- Attend industry events and initiatives, supporting social value and sustainability goals.
- Establish a clear dispute resolution process to manage conflicts effectively.
- Provide out-of-hours emergency support, ensuring prompt solutions and assessing both immediate and long-term needs.
- Engage early with framework projects, collaborating with teams to keep clients updated on progress, costs, and action plans.
- Coordinate with regional and branch teams to ensure equipment availability and efficient project delivery.
- Produce account management and ad-hoc reports, monitoring the status of job prices to maintain accurate project pipelines.
- Champion safe practices, ensuring all operations are carried out to the highest standards while meeting client and business objectives.
- Promote Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, ensuring all operations align with sustainability practices and drive environmental and social value.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven track record in managing frameworks and client relationships, ideally within the UK water, rental, or utility industry.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with strong networking skills.
- Previous experience overseeing Framework operations in the North of England, ensuring service excellence across frameworks such as United Utilities, Yorkshire Water, and Northumbrian Water.
- Advanced financial management, budgeting, and planning expertise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strategic thinker with strong judgement and decision-making abilities.
- Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Formal Education & Qualifications in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with a focus on innovation and adaptability.
- Comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety regulations and best practices.

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Car + Others
