Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Fixed Term)
Location: Herne Bay
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8:15am - 3:15pm), Term Time Only
Salary: £85 - £100 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting individuals and groups in whole-class activities, helping all children achieve learning goals.
• Leading intervention groups to pre-teach lessons, address misconceptions, and close learning gaps.
• Leading Read Write Inc.phonics sessions in Key Stage 1.
• Providing occasional whole-class cover in the teacher's absence.
• Offering effective feedback to children and teachers, maintaining appropriate marking and record-keeping.
• Collaborating with teachers to support the emotional, social, and behavioural needs of children.
• Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and the creation of classroom displays.
• Participating in relevant training to further professional development, particularly around behaviour management and emotional health.
