Trainee Teaching Assistant - Harrow

We are actively working with primary schools in Harrow and Brent seeking Teaching Assistants for an ASAP and January 2025 start date.

We are looking for a Trainee Teaching Assistants and experienced TAs to assist in supporting students of primary and secondary age in a range of subjects. If you are seeking a long-term position and can commit for the entire academic year, we would be happy to hear from you.

• Type of work: Teaching Assistant - Childcare experience needed or student based relative experience
• Start date: ASAP/January 2025
• Duration: 1 Year+
• Contract type: Full-time, long term
• Hours - 8:30 am - 16:00 pm
• Up to £95 per day

TYPICAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Work with all ability ranges including those with EAL and SEN(Autism, Complex Needs, ADHD and Speech and Language Difficulties)
• Run your intervention sessions and booster groups with pupils that need it the most.
• Be involved in running extracurricular activities

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• No previous education experience is required to apply however some type of childcare experience is required
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH ENGAGE EDUCATION, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application (if not we can get one)
• Provide two professional references
