Our client is looking for an organised Logistics Coordinator to manage order tracking, supplier coordination, and deliveries.

  • 25 days + bank holidays
  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Job specification:

  • Provide administrative support to the logistics team using the company’s software system.
  • Manage emails and phone calls, responding promptly and appropriately.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Distribute relevant correspondence as needed.
  • Coordinate with overseas suppliers to maintain efficient communication.
  • Track and monitor orders, keeping the logistics team leader informed of progress.
  • Conduct weekly stock updates in the warehouse and generate necessary purchase orders.
  • Prepare customer quotes and ensure invoices are issued based on these quotes, ensuring goods are ready for dispatch.
  • Process internal credit notes.
  • Collaborate with the sales and technical teams for seamless operations.
  • Create and process intercompany orders and invoices.
  • Communicate with overseas factories to ensure stock is ordered and production is on schedule.
  • Update systems with current pricing information.
  • Monitor and track units shipped from overseas and ensure timely delivery to clients.
  • Perform daily transport-related duties.
  • Communicate with the sales team regarding upcoming projects.
  • Liaise with the production team and third-party carriers to ensure deliveries are completed within agreed timelines.

Person specification:

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with export customs documentation and forklifts.
  • Analytical skills for evaluating sales data.
  • Knowledge of sales operations and logistics processes.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic setting.
  • Proficient in MS Office, adaptable to learning new software.
  • Experience in sales or customer service preferred.
  • Relevant qualifications in sales or logistics are a plus.
