Are you a passionate and qualified Chemistry teacher looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and growing school environment? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a forward-thinking school in Redbridge with a newly established Sixth Form department, starting in January 2025.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to deliver A-Level Chemistry to a group of motivated students. This is a full-time, permanent role where you will have the opportunity to shape the future of Sixth Form students and contribute to the development of an expanding Science Faculty.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in A-Level Chemistry and Applied Science
• Inspire students to achieve their academic and higher education aspirations
• Collaborate with a passionate team to further develop and enhance the Science curriculum
• Support the growth of new Sixth Form and contribute to a positive learning environment
• Maintain high standards of teaching, ensuring excellent student outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• A qualified teacher with deep knowledge for Chemistry and a solid understanding of A-Level content
• A creative and innovative approach to teaching, with a focus on student engagement and achievement
• Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive and expanding Science team
• ECTs and experienced QTS teachers are both encouraged to apply
• Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to student success

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A registered teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS/QTLS) for either post-compulsory or secondary education
• Enhanced DBS disclosure (subject to checks)
• Full employment/education history on your CV (including explanations for any employment gaps)
• The legal right to work in the UK without restrictions
