Head of Projects

Head of projects is required leading provider of refrigeration solutions across Supermarket & Commercial. They deliver complex, large-scale projects for top retail chains across the UK, including Aldi, Costco, and McColl's. With an established order pipeline secured for the next 12 months, they're expanding their team to ensure the continued excellence of our project delivery and to grow there market presence.

The Head of Project Management will take ownership of national refrigeration projects, managing and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of installations, upgrades, and retrofit programs. The successful candidate will drive the completion of current projects, expand the order book, and support our ambitious growth objectives. They will be looking to expand into Industrial refrigeration, mission-critical, and more diverse Air Conditioning projects.

This role is ideal for someone with 10 plus years' experience and, strong background in project management within the Supermarket refrigeration, HVAC, and broader commercial Cooling sector.

• Oversee the management and execution of all national refrigeration projects, ensuring they meet time, budget, and quality targets.
• Implement best practices and standardized project management processes across teams.
• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth delivery.
• Develop proposals and negotiate contracts with new and existing clients, ensuring alignment with company revenue and growth targets.
• Leverage industry connections and develop new client relationships to build on our current 12-month order pipeline.

• Minimum 10 years of industry experience within the refrigeration sector - bias towards supermarket refrigeration
• Previous experience tendering for new projects
• Held roles as Head of Projects or similar
• Be able to travel to the company office once a month

Head of Projects Salary & Benefits

• £70-90K
• Company car
• Remote working with office attendance once a month
• 25 days holiday plus bank - rising with service
• Bonus - based on the percentage of profits (paid twice yearly)
