My client is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to lead a team of multi-trade operatives, ensuring efficient and cost-effective refurbishment work. This role is crucial for managing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and driving continuous improvement within a team of tradespeople working on domestic refurbishment projects.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage the daily operations of a team of multi-trade operatives to ensure timely and accurate refurbishment work.
• Enforce Health & Safety policies and statutory legislation to ensure the safety and welfare of both direct labour and subcontractors.
• Conduct daily team management activities including absence management meetings, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
• Facilitate training and development through toolbox talks, coaching, and support during call-out rota.
• Perform pre-work inspections, provide technical advice, and undertake quality assessments to address any defects or incomplete works.
• Liaise with clients and residents to manage expectations and provide updates on service provision.
• Handle administrative responsibilities accurately and timely, including data collection and analysis to drive improvement actions.
• Implement Systems Thinking techniques to enhance service quality and cost-efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience of or aptitude for leadership & management.
• SMSTS
• Excellent technical knowledge of building trades with maintenance or building trade and decision-making/problem-solving skills. Plumbing, Carpentry, Roofing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; capable of extracting and utilising data effectively.
• Good commercial awareness with an understanding of cost impacts.
• Self-motivated with a clean driving licence.
