• Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term (until at least July 2025)

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and their parents or carers.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
• Maintain open communication with parents and carers regarding student progress.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to enrich the educational experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Year 2 or a similar age group.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
