Day-to-day of the role: - Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials to suit diverse learning styles.
- Work closely with teachers to implement and deliver individualized learning plans effectively.
- Support students in both classroom settings and during extracurricular activities, promoting inclusive education.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning atmosphere conducive to student success.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate student records and progress reports.
- Actively participate in school events and contribute positively to the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Previous experience in a similar role or working with young people is preferred.
- A genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating collaboration and cooperation.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the varying needs of students and the school environment.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education, SEN, or child development are advantageous.
