Private Client Solicitor

An established law firm in Cheshire is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their team. This role involves managing a varied caseload of Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Probate matters, with a focus on complex trusts, succession planning, and advising on agricultural and business property relief.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of Probate and Trust administration.
• Prepare Wills and manage Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning, including complex estates.
• Advise on and claim agricultural and business property relief.
• Manage and prioritise your own caseload autonomously.
• Collaborate with experienced team members and support junior colleagues.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Approximately 5 years’ PQE in Private Client work, preferably STEP qualified.
• Experience with high net worth clients, business and farming partnerships/agricultural interests.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Client-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
