This is an excellent new permanent vacancy for a Manual Software Tester to work on a hybrid basis with an Ipswich based software business who have an industry leading SAAS product.

This will be a great opportunity for you if you love using your intuition and natural curiosity to sniff out bugs in software and think outside the box with regards to the test strategy you employ.

In your new role you will join a close knit team of testers, and work collaboratively with developers, to design, develop and execute manual tests for the ongoing development of new features and enhancements for their platform. As a senior member of the team you will also play a pivotal role in the delivery of their test strategy and ensuring bugs or issues are removed before deployment to users.

To be successful it is likely that you will have:

• Demonstrable experience of manual testing in a commercial environment.

• The ability to lead the conversation with regards to test strategy and testing techniques.

• An aptitude for quickly understanding complex requirements.

• A tenacious approach to software quality.

Although not essential, it would go in your favour if you had a recognised testing qualification and SQL skills.
