Job Purpose
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients, overseeing workflow, deadlines, and budgets
- Overseeing the smooth-running of the team, reviewing work, delivering training and providing feedback
- Planning and undertaking assignments, striving to deliver service excellence
- Monitoring team performance and tracking targets
- Closely monitoring deadlines and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations
- Using computer software such as IRIS, Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
- Contributing to the firm’s growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients
- Building trusted and long-lasting client relationships, proactively handing queries
- Reviewing processes and implementing more efficient ways of service delivery
- Setting an example to junior staff as a hands-on Manager

The Successful Candidate
- ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified
- At least five years' post-qualification experience
- Qualified by experience also considered
- A proven track record of managing a client portfolio within practice
- Excellent IT skills, with the ability to learn new ones quickly
- Previous experience leading a team, reviewing work and providing mentorship
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Professional, reliable and keen to progress within the firm
- Self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to meet deadlines
- A hands-on, can-do attitude towards problem-solving
- Analytically minded, with strong commercial acumen
