Team Leader Required in Irthlingborough.

As Team Leader of our clients Administration Team, you will be responsible in leading the busy administration team on a day to day basis as well as supporting both their sales team and their service/maintenance team.

Key Areas of Responsibility of the Team Leader:

• Lead, empower, and develop the team and encourage communication
• Ensure that agreed processes, standards, timescales, and quality requirements are adhered to
• Supporting with internal and external audit processes
• Ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained within the department
• Responding swiftly and professionally to all enquiries by phone and email
• Ensuring the completion of general administrative tasks, by supporting the team in their roles including overseeing the processing of sales orders, raising purchase orders, processing picking notes from the warehouse for dispatch, and scanning documentation
* Supporting quoting customers for in-house servicing and for third party repairs
• Assisting with planning and coordination of their rolling stock takes
• Building and maintaining good relationships with both, internal stakeholders and their suppliers
• Ensuring that stock levels of core products are maintained
• Ensuring that stock pricing is accurate and kept up to date
• Ensuring that the email inboxes are kept up to date and all enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner
• Liaising with multiple suppliers on pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules
• Reporting financial information on a weekly and monthly basis, including key supplier spends • Taking a flexible approach to the role and its responsibilities during busy periods to support the needs of the team and the business.

The Person: Knowledge - Administration Team Leader

• Previous experience of leading a busy administration department is essential
• Purchasing and stock control experience is essential
• Customer service experience, preferably from within a business to business environment, is essential

Skills - Administration Team Leader

• Excellent customer service and people skills
• Good communication skills and excellent phone manner
• Strong time management, planning and prioritisation skills
• Excellent IT skills;
• Good attention to detail to maintain accurate records, both written and electronic.

Hours: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 Friday


The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to working hours as travel to customer sites may be required to fulfil the role.
Salary: Subject to experience.
Holiday: 25 Days per annum, plus bank holidays (3 or 4 days to be saved for a shutdown at Christmas).
