Job Requirements - Support the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Limited companes
- Preparation of corporate tax computations
- Support the wider accounts team, dealing with year-end and ad-hoc issues
- Assist with management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns where required
- Converse clearly and effectively using software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
- Manage own workload, regularly updating Managers with work progress
- Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team

The Successful Applicant - AAT / ACCA / ACA qualified, part qualified or studying
- Qualified by experience also considered
- Proven track record of leading audit assignments within practice environment
- Strong experience managing a diverse client portfolio
- Good knowledge of audit software including Xero, SAGE 50, SAGE Business Cloud and Microsoft Office
- Experience using Iris suite is desirable, but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress
- A strong work ethic, time management and organisational skills
- Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team and progress within the firm
- Hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
- Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail
- Able to work confidently with senior team members
