Job Purpose - Managing a diverse client portfolio of c.200 corporate clients, ensuring deadlines and fee recovery targets are met
- Preparation and delivery of quality and reliable tax advice
- Overviewing personal tax affairs
- Overseeing compliance function by attending pre year-end/completion meetings
- Supporting business development strategies, attending prospective meetings and quoting for services
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Offering cross referral for corporate finance, financial planning and other advice as required
- Overseeing junior team members, including workflow management, quality control, and providing training
- Building trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving
- Keeping up-to-date with tax knowledge, championing knowledge sharing across the team
- Attending courses to further build on own taxation skillset

The Successful Applicant - ACA / CTA qualified, part qualified or studying
- Qualified by experience within UK practice would also be considered
- At least 3 years’ corporate tax experience
- Technically efficient across taxation
- Supervisory experience with good people management skills
- Self-motivated and reliable who is eager to progress
- A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
- Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
- Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
- Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met
- Good commercial acumen
