What does the job entail?

  • You will work alongside the Head of Audit to run the department, delivering high quality audits to our clients in the SME sector
  • You will be supported by the wider audit team to deliver the onsite work and will report into the RI’s in the department
  • You will build relationships with the clients so that you are the "go-to" person and will manage their expectations, their audit, and our team to deliver a high quality audit.
  • You will be developing the team and be a role model
  • You will be completing file reviews on a range of audit clients, utilising your existing technical knowledge and experience whilst developing your skills still further and ensuring quality standards are met in the department
  • You will also be identifying and delivering added value services to the clients to help them prosper

  • You must have a least 2 years’ post qualified experience in a medium sized practice working SME’s
  • You’ll be ACA or ACCA qualified
  • You’ll have supervisory or managerial experience
  • You’ll have strong technical knowledge, eg UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS and ISA’s
  • You’ll love developing relationships
  • You’ll be tech-savvy, knowledge of CCH would be great
  • You’ll have a pro-active approach to tasks whether they are big or small
  • You’ll be motivated by a fast paced environment
