Are you passionate about preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Wales through language education? We’re excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Welsh Language Teacher around Flint and Holywell looking to teach at secondary school level.

Responsibilities: As a committed Welsh Language Teacher, you will:

  • Immerse Students in Welsh Culture: Create engaging lessons that not only teach the language but also celebrate Welsh traditions, literature, and history.
  • Develop Language Proficiency: Foster students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Welsh.
  • Promote Bilingualism: Encourage students to embrace bilingualism by integrating Welsh into their daily lives.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other educators to create a cohesive language program.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Successful candidates should hold QTS, PGCE with a relevant Bachelor’s Degree, a Bachelor of Education, or the international equivalent.
  • Fluency in Welsh: Proficiency in spoken and written Welsh is essential.
  • Passion for Welsh Culture: A genuine love for Welsh traditions, folklore, and language.
