Occupational Therapist

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a Physical Disability and Older People (PDOP) team who are looking for support to their existing OT team working on duty and holding a small case load.

An OT with experience in moving and handling, single handed care, equipment provision and risk management is essential.

The OT needs to have experience of completing functional assessments, moving and handling plans and mental capacity assessments when needed.

A good understanding of the 2014 Care Act and moving and handling legislation is required.

The OT will need to have access to a car and will be expected to work at the Council's offices as well as at home.
