Job Purpose

• Work closely with an experienced team to support a varied client portfolio.
• Preparation of year-end accounts, primarily for Sole Traders and Limited companies.
• Preparation of management accounts.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Further develop a good working knowledge of various software, including QuickBooks and Xero.
• Building strong rapport with clients, proactively handling queries and problem solving.
• Supporting junior team members through knowledge sharing.
• Manage your own workflow and ensure client work is completed and delivered to a high standard and in a timely manner.
• Champion your own professional development, enthusiastically undertaking training opportunities.

Job Requirements

• AAT qualified or ACCA / ACA part-qualified.
• Previous experience within practice working with Sole Traders and Limited companies.
• Working knowledge of cloud software, such as Xero.
• A team player who can also work autonomously.
• A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
• Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
