Job Purpose - Support a thriving tax team with various assignments, including:
- Preparation of personal tax returns for Sole Traders, Partnerships, Directors, and HNWIs.
- Preparation of rental income and expenditure accounts.
- Preparation of Sole Trader accounts.
- Liaise with HMRC, deal with statements of accounts, and PEY Coding Notices.
- Build strong rapport with clients, proactively handling queries and problem solving.
- Attend client meetings and provide valuable input.
- Work directly with the Tax Senior and Tax Director to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.
- Keep up-to-date with taxation news and regulations, knowledge sharing across the team.
- Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities.

What are we looking for? - ATT qualified or part qualified with previous taxation experience within practice.
- Qualified by experience would also be considered. Study support is available.
- Working knowledge of various taxation software.
- Adept at completing self-assessment returns.
- Strong knowledge of capital gains tax and corporation tax is preferable and additional training can be provided.
- Good communication skills and sound attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and highly organised.
- A team player able to work closely with senior team members.
- A can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn from an experienced team.
