You will need a good knowledge of accounting software and will be detail focused, as well as being personable, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients. You will also be pleased to know that this role will involve the opportunity to work for a client portfolio from the point of client introduction, right through to raising the invoice for work completed.

Job Purpose

• Support a portfolio of clients from a broad range of sectors.
• Statutory and management accounts preparation.
• Preparation of income and expenditure accounts for clients as required.
• Bookkeeping and organisation of accounting records.
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns.
• Provide excellent service to clients by supporting and answering queries.
• Liaising with HMRC.
• Providing work to junior team members and reviewing once completed.
• Work closely with the senior management team, including supporting Partners with projects.
• Contribute to the accountancy firm’s growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.
• Support the team to streamlined processes, modernise and improve efficiencies.
• Work as part of a team that fosters a supportive and inclusive environment.

• ACA, ACCA or CA qualified or finalist with previous experience in practice.
