Public Practice Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be recruiting a Semi Senior Accountant for a leading accountancy firm in Wigan. This thriving firm is looking for an enthusiastic and committed accountant to join their forward-thinking team.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some general accounting experience and the confidence to get stuck in to supporting the senior management in providing a high level of accounting service to a varied portfolio of clients.

You’ll be self-motivated and a good communicator, with strong attention to detail who can confidently work closely with clients and senior members of the team.

Job Purpose

• Preparation of management accounts for a varied range of clients.
• Maintaining financial records.
• Analysis of debtor and creditor reports.
• Working closely with other departments.
• Preparation of management accounts.
• Handling bookkeeping and VAT returns.
• Processing invoices.
• PAYE and P11d.
• Confidently liaise with clients, supporting with queries and building trusted relationships.
• Working closely with senior team members, handling duties as required.
