Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: On-site at our Dalston Lane and Seven Sisters warehouse

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8:45 am-5:15 pm

You will play an important part in keeping our warehouse operations safe, accurate and efficient. From receiving stock through to picking, packing and dispatch, you will help ensure that the right items reach the right place at the right time.

What you'll be doing:

• Checking inbound deliveries for accuracy, quantity and condition.
• Reporting stock discrepancies and replenishment needs promptly.
• Organising and moving stock so that items are easy to identify and pick.
• Picking orders accurately against item numbers and descriptions.
• Checking quantities and highlighting missing items.
• Packing goods securely and appropriately for transit.
• Preparing and loading daily courier shipments.
• Completing dispatch documentation accurately.
• Taking part in regular stocktakes and spot checks.
• Keeping warehouse and courtyard areas clean, safe and organised.
• Supporting smooth handovers between our warehouse locations.

The role rotates between our Dalston Lane and Seven Sisters warehouse, typically spending one week at each site.

You'll be someone who:

• Is organised and pays close attention to detail.
• Communicates clearly and works well with others.
• Can remain accurate and dependable under pressure.
• Takes pride in maintaining high standards.
• Is comfortable working on their feet for extended periods and carrying out physical warehouse duties.
• Notices problems, raises them early and helps find solutions.

Previous warehouse experience, confidence working at height and experience using stackers, pallet trucks or other warehouse equipment would be helpful, but are not essential.
