Registered Nurse – Barleycroft Care Home, Romford

Barleycroft Care Home is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care within a nursing home environment.

Salary: £23.39 per hour

Location: Romford RM7 9LD

As a Registered Nurse, you will support the Home Manager and senior team in ensuring the safe and effective running of the home. You will provide high standards of nursing care, promote resident wellbeing, and ensure compliance with NMC standards and CQC requirements.

• Assess residents’ care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate personalised care plans.
• Maintain accurate and complete nursing documentation.
• Administer medication safely in line with NMC guidelines and company policies.
• Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing and report any concerns.
• Provide leadership and support to care staff.
• Take charge of the home when required.
• Ensure effective communication between all members of the healthcare team.
• Liaise with doctors, healthcare professionals, families, and other relevant parties.
• Ensure visiting professionals and clinical information are properly recorded.
• Attend mandatory training and professional development sessions.
• Support staff induction and ongoing training.
• Maintain high standards of infection control, safeguarding, and resident safety.
• Support compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.

• Registered Nurse qualification.
• Active NMC registration.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
• Experience working with elderly residents or within a care home setting is desirable.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Right to work in the UK.
