AWS Data Engineer

Hybrid working pattern 3 days per week in the London office

My client, an investment bank in London, are seeking a talented Senior AWS Data Engineer to join their growing data practice within the UK.

The bank is in the middle of a transition programme to cloud, with existing systems and services being migrated onto AWS as part of a larger shift towards a cloud first model.

The ideal candidate must have:

• Strong experience as an AWS Data Engineer
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data solutions in large-scale enterprise environments
• Extensive experience in AWS services, e.g. EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Lambda, API Gateway
• Strong SQL skills for complex data queries and transformations
• ETL Pipelining experience
• Experience with Python
• AWS Certifications are a plus
• Banking experience
• Must have experience of working closely with business teams and communicating with senior stakeholders.
