About The Role
Team - Pricing - Life
Working Pattern - Hybrid - 2 days per week in the Vitality London Office. Full time, 37.5 hours per week.

• Ability to understand and communicate about technical ideas, issues, and solutions, e.g. Excel, Python, SQL, R code.
• Experience automating the collection, analysis, and presentation of data in management information dashboards.
• Strong relationship building skills with both direct colleagues and other stakeholders around the business.

What this role is all about:
As part of the pricing function, be responsible for data analysis related to the production and maintenance of management information of pricing metrics and dashboards. Responsible for supporting the enhancement of the pricing methodology through updating the code of the pricing software, testing the pricing system and working with systems teams to ensure the integration with the other related systems.
Key Actions

• Design, create and enhance management information dashboards and packs for analysis of pricing performance in the market.
• Enhance and maintain the premium calculation process.
• Assist in the data analysis required for re-pricing and new product developments.
• Manage actuarial and pricing related queries from the business.
• Effective resolution of systems related issues.
• Documenting of processes and results.
• Identify and manage system risks and opportunities.
• Assist in the testing and sign-off of pricing related system releases from a Pricing Function perspective.

What do you need to thrive?

• Degree or equivalent in a technical / analytical subject (e.g. Mathematics, Sciences, Business/Finance).
• Experience of working with Microsoft Excel and Statistical/Data Anlaytics coding language (e.g. R, Python, SQL, etc.).
• Experience of data analysis.
• Excellent data analysis and presentation skills (advanced excel, R, SQL, Python, Power BI or similar).
• Excellent relationship building skills - both written and verbal.
• Excellent communication skills, both formal and informal.
