We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in Health and Social Care to join our team. This role involves teaching Level 3 Health and Social Care students, helping them develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the sector.
About the role:
To act as course tutor and personal tutor and teach a variety of units on all levels of Health and Social Care programmes.
About you:
You will have appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong background in Health and Social Care and will have a teaching qualification or the commitment to undertake one during the first term of contract. You will have a history of teaching within a vocational (or similar) context to a high standard, with personal/group tutoring experience and of teaching a variety of Health and Social Care Courses. You must have the ability to communicate with students and to motivate and support them in their studies.
You will need to act as course tutor and personal tutor and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of Health and Social courses as well as being able to teach up to Level 3 across a range of courses. You will need to prepare the appropriate teaching materials and keep them up to date and use Microsoft Teams for resources and tutorials. When appropriate, you will be expected to liaise with employers and help to embed work experience into your curriculum.
