We are about to embark on our next exciting phase of growth and the successful candidate will have the chance to lead strategic initiatives across PPC and email marketing channels and contribute to the overall success of the company's marketing efforts.
The Digital Marketing is a key role that will be responsible for driving online sales and customer engagement through strategic management of PPC advertising campaigns and email marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
PPC Management:
- Within an agreed budget framework develop and execute PPC strategies to drive targeted traffic and increase conversion rates, utilising our external PPC consultant for advice and as a sounding board
- Maintain and manage all pmax campaigns, liaising closely with merchandising to ensure optimum segmentation, product categorisation and bid adjustments
- Monitor and analyze campaign data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with creative and content teams to develop compelling ad creatives, then upload creative assets and banners for PPC campaigns.
- Feed optimization, utilizing datafeedwatch.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the social media team on paid social media advertising strategies and day to day campaign management.
- Mentor marketplace stakeholders on implementing and optimizing paid advertising activities within various marketplaces.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in PPC advertising.
- Be proficient across paid social media platforms, knowing best practice strategies and campaigns.
- Blend paid strategies across traditional PPC and social to drive both the lower and upper funnel
- Drive the ROI from our affiliate campaigns and relationships
Email Marketing:
- Develop and implement a CRM strategy to take our retention strategy and customer comms to the next level - make it relevant and automate whenever possible.
- Plan and execute engaging email marketing campaigns that inspire and excite, that promote both products and content to drive sales and nurture customer relationships.
- Segment email lists and personalize content to improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Monitor email deliverability and performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement A/B testing to optimize campaign performance and maximize ROI.
- Provide mentorship and support to the Trade and Showroom teams in executing their email marketing campaigns effectively.
Experience/ Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing PPC campaigns and email marketing initiatives, preferably within the ecommerce industry.
- Commercially savvy with a strong understanding of a trading environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- A creative flair that can bring a brand to life
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta and Pinterest Advertising, and email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and email marketing best practices.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.
