Infrastructure Engineer - Insurance Experience

My client in the insurance industry are searching for 2 Infrastructure Engineers to join their team to work on a 6 month initial contract. The role is outside IR35 and will be on a hybrid basis with the office location as Milton Keynes.

Key Skills

• Demonstrate extensive experience working as a cloud/infrastructure engineer/senior engineer or in similar IT roles.
• Extensive experience working with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, M365 and Exchange Online.
• Extensive experience working with multi-site and multi forest Active Directory environments, group policy and DNS.
• Extensive experience working with Windows desktop, including all levels of troubleshooting.
• Extensive experience working with cloud, server, desktop, network and telephony providers.
• Good knowledge of WAF (Imperva)
• Good knowledge of Azure Files, File Services and DFS
• Good knowledge of Commvault backup technology
• Good knowledge of IT security practices and the implementation of tools that provide MFA, DLP, proxy services, encryption, event logging and alerting.

Desirable Experience

• Good knowledge of Microsoft server technologies (Windows 2023, 2019, and 2016)
• Good knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS & Group Policy
• Good knowledge of Nutanix
• Experience with Mimecast
• Experience with Anti-Virus technologies such as CrowdStrike
• Knowledge of identity management solutions such as Entra ID
• Knowledge of proxy services such as Netskope
