Remuneration: £29,000 + a profit share bonus, OTE £34,000

The role of the Internal Sales - Fire and Security will involve:

  • Internal sales role selling the design, supply & commission of fire systems such as: fire alarms & ancillaries, fire suppression systems, extinguishers, smoke ventilation, call systems and to a lesser extent emergency lighting & signs, gas detection, water detection, CCTV, intruder alarms and access controls
  • You will be selling into fire & security installers, electrical wholesalers & contractors
  • Your time will be split 40% generating new business, 30% managing quotes & processing orders with the remaining 30% being spent dealing with inbound queries & account management
  • Processing orders from suppliers & customers, producing quotations as required
  • Dealing with an average invoice value of £1,000, these can range up to £300,000

The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales - Fire and Security with:

  • Must have sales experience in an internal sales, business development, telesales roles
  • Must be confident on the telephone and in calling outbound to customers
  • Ideally from a fire & security or electrical wholesale background however this is not essential
  • Hardworking with an excellent work ethic
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Stable career background
  • Attention to detail and methodical organisational skills
