Regulatory Business Analyst – COREP
£500 - £550 per day
London – Onsite 3 days a week

As a Regulatory Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role within our dynamic team, working on a large-scale program with exposure to diverse regulatory initiatives, balancing a variety of key stakeholder interests with a robust focus on delivery of optimal outcomes.
The Role:
Collaborate with key stakeholders such as the Program Manager, Global Group-wide Chief Risk Officers (CROs), and Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) to ensure alignment with regulatory objectives and reporting accuracy.
Accurate Returns for PRA: Assess and enhance the accuracy of returns for the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), focusing on remediation efforts to address existing reporting challenges and mitigate the risk of fines.
Thoroughly document Business-As-Usual (BAU) processes, providing transparency and clarity for effective regulatory compliance.
Work closely with BAU return teams, particularly in sensitive areas, to address immediate concerns and facilitate strategic remediation over both interim and strategic timelines.
Execute manual adjustments as necessary to rectify discrepancies and ensure regulatory compliance.
Identify opportunities and implement process automation where feasible, aiming to improve efficiency and accuracy in regulatory reporting.
Key Skills and Experience:
Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements, with specific experience in COREP and LER (Large Exposure Reporting).
Proficient in utilising regulatory technology to ensure traceability and compliance with implementing regulations.
Wholesale or IB Experience: Previous experience in Wholesale or Investment Banking environments, particularly in dealing with Derivatives exposure, guarantees, and Capital & Liquidity reporting.
Ability to operate effectively in both mid and senior levels, adapting to the varying demands of the role.
Data Modeling Experience: While not essential, experience in data modeling would be advantageous
Familiarity with counterparty data structures (entity resolution, aggregation)
Familiarity with credit risk mitigation techniques (collateral haircuts, indirect exposure)
Agile project delivery experience
Familiarity with the Standardized Approach for Counterparty Credit Risk (SA-CCR)
