About the Role - Due to continued success, our Client is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager who is a good relationship builder - equally happy face to face as well as on the phone. AV experience is essential for this position, ideally from a professional AV Integrator.
Responsibilities -
- Develop new opportunities for the sales of meeting, board, and training room integration projects.
- Consistently deliver an on-target performance against an agreed monthly margin target.
- Accurately forecast current month and 3 months pipeline of business opportunities including sales revenue and expected GP.
- Systematically target Corporate accounts using the "Solution Sales Model", engage and profitably close all sales opportunities for product and services.
- Recognise and close all up-sell opportunities for product and services within the assigned Corporate accounts.
- Preparing tender documents
- Producing easy to understand quotations and customer technical documents.
- Establish strong, long-lasting relationships with new clients and maintain existing relationships.
- Prepare and give proposals to clients.
Required Skills -
- A minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience within a technology background and a strong employment history demonstrating the ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- A keen interest in technology and experience of working within the AV Industry with a clear understanding of the AV market.
- Strong verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
- Full, clean UK driving license and own transport.
- Right to live and work in the UK.
