Overview: 
Our Professional Services and Support teams are responsible for the successful delivery of the GBG Scannet product to our customers. 

The team are with the client every step of the way ensuring that the product is successfully deployed and integrated with the customer’s internal systems, in line with the contract and the specification documents, ensuring the service is delivered on time and on budget. 
Post-delivery, the team continue to support the customer for maintenance and future improvements and updates.

Following the initial induction and with continued training and support, you will find yourself involved in various tasks where you will put your learning into practice. 
You will work with a number of customers in different sectors that have a requirement to perform Document Verification on their Customers. You will be responsible for building hardware equipment, delivering to clients and provide them with training on how to use the solution. 

As we continue to grow, ongoing support with existing customers also forms part of this role.

Salary: 
£24,150 per annum. 

The Role: 
This program will provide you exposure to GBG customers with tasks involving, but not limited to: 

  • Arranging and managing equipment installations with customers both on-site and remotely
  • Resolving IT hardware issues replacing PC components and OS re- installations
  • Testing and evaluating new software updates before release to clients
  • Support Sales teams with any technical support requests
  • Developing DIY skills to support hardware installations such as using power tools, wall plugs, wall mounts etc.
  • Stock management and ordering

Essential:
As part of this role, you will be required to have a full clean UK driving licence and your own vehicle is required - as the role involves travel

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Future prospects:  
90% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. There is potentially an opportunity for a full time role at the end of the apprenticeship.
