Salary: £38-000-£40,000 dependent on experience.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives. In this role, you will drive the development, execution, and optimization of marketing strategies to generate interest, gather feedback, and accelerate sales growth. You will oversee a variety of marketing channels, manage events, and enhance lead conversion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, competitor analysis, content management, and audience engagement. Experience in subscriptions is extremely beneficial. This is a key role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Digital Presence:
- Lead the strategy and execution of social media campaigns across platforms to build brand awareness, engage with followers, and generate qualified leads.
- Oversee content creation and management for social media channels, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand voice.
- Engage with prospects, industry influencers, and customers on LinkedIn to foster relationships and promote the Aurora Insights brand.
Email Campaigns & Communication:
- Plan, execute, and analyse email marketing campaigns including newsletters, product updates, and promotional mailers to engage both existing and potential customers.
- Regularly audit mailers for performance, using insights to improve future campaigns.
- Identify and engage with highly responsive prospects, nurturing leads through personalized one-on-one communication.
Lead Generation & Sales Support:
- Design and implement effective lead generation strategies to drive sales pipeline growth.
- Manage the follow-up process with leads, conducting outreach to qualify them and convert them into customers.
- Track and optimize lead conversion efforts.
Event Planning & Execution:
- Research and identify key industry events (conferences, trade shows, webinars) where Aurora Insights should participate as speakers, exhibitors, or attendees.
- Lead the planning, promotion, and logistics for Aurora Insights' presence at selected events, including campaign development, materials preparation, and team coordination.
- Post-event, analyse ROI and effectiveness, refining future strategies based on insights gained.
Competitor Analysis & Market Research:
- Monitor competitors’ marketing strategies, pricing models, and product offerings to identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs, ensuring that Aurora Insights remains competitive and relevant.
- Use findings to refine pricing strategies, product positioning, and marketing tactics.
Website & Content Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the company’s website, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for conversions.
- Use UDM (User Data Management) to improve website functionality, usability, and content strategy.
- Work with the content team to ensure that the website is SEO-optimized and aligned with the company’s goals.
Audience Growth & Segmentation:
- Drive strategies to expand Aurora Insights’ audience through targeted marketing campaigns.
- Segment the audience for more personalized marketing and ensure that messaging resonates with different customer personas.
- Use data and insights to continuously refine audience segmentation strategies.
Customer Feedback & Insights:
- Develop and implement systems to gather customer feedback (surveys, direct outreach, reviews) to inform marketing strategies and product development.
- Analyse customer feedback and identify gaps or areas for improvement in our marketing and sales processes.
Campaign & Event Planning:
- Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns for upcoming conferences, webinars, focus groups, and awards.
- Develop event-specific promotional strategies and manage the campaign calendar for maximum impact and engagement.
Sales Enablement & Reporting:
- Regularly follow up with leads and existing customers to understand their concerns and gather feedback on product offerings.
- Ensure that leads are effectively nurtured and moved through the sales funnel.
- Provide regular reports to leadership on marketing campaign performance, lead generation efforts, and overall sales impact.
Experience and Skills
- 3-5 years experience in B2B Marketing. Experience with subscriptions beneficial.
- Minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in relevant qualification i.e. Marketing.
- Sound working knowledge of Adobe Suite. Experience using Mail Chimp, WordPress, Apollo.
- Strong content creation skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive marketing materials.
- A data-driven mindset, focused on analysing and optimising campaign performance.
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, with experience working cross-functionally. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
- Willingness to travel.
