Description

• Assisting the merchandising team in planning and executing strategies
• Analysing sales figures, customer reactions and market trends
• Forecasting future sales and stock requirements
• Coordinating with the buying and warehouse teams
• Ensuring the right amount of stock is available and in the right place
• Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels
• Reporting to the Senior Merchandiser on sales, stock and budget
• Assisting in the preparation of promotional materials and displays

Profile

A successful 'Assistant Merchandiser' should have:

• A keen interest in retail and merchandising
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work well within a team
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
