Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding

We are partnering with a Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Essex.

You will be responsible for selling services for air freight, sea freight and road freight.

Responsibilities;

• Responsible for sourcing your own business leads
• Generating new sales for all modes of transport
• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve the company's sales goals and objectives
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders

Skills Required;

• Strong sales experience within the freight forwarding industry
• Experience selling sea, air and road freight
• Global freight forwarding experience
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Good attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
