Legal Indemnity Underwriter

My client, a leading title insurer, is seeking an experienced Legal Indemnity Underwriter to join their team and support their continued growth.

In this role, you will underwrite large commercial legal indemnity risks while building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, solicitors, and brokers.

Salary: £50,000-£60,000
Location: City of London
Hybrid Working: Yes

Key Responsibilities:
- Maximise business profitability by making effective underwriting decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, solicitors, and brokers, ensuring efficient resolution of policy queries.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Travel as required to support business needs.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Legal Indemnity Underwriter or Assistant Underwriter (salary will be aligned to level) seeking a new challenge within a reputable and supportive organisation. You should be a dynamic, ambitious, and commercially minded professional with strong business acumen.

My client is also open to considering Solicitors or Qualified Lawyers with 3+ years of post-qualification experience who are looking to transition into underwriting.
