This new Special Needs School located in Newbury, is a vibrant and inclusive educational community, and they are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of students with special educational needs (SEN), helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing environment.

• Assist in the planning and delivery of individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with SEN.
• Support classroom activities and provide one-on-one assistance to students as needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
• HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
