Java Developer - £40K - £45K DOE - Ipswich - Hybrid / Remote

A software technology company are hiring for a Java Developer to join their team. As a business they help organisations innovate, scale and transform with bespoke digital products and services.

As a Java Developer you will build performant applications which will be utilised within the med tech industry.  You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications.

Skills:

• Java
• Spring / Spring Boot
• Experience building and deploying microservices
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, Oracle or MongoDB
• Experience with Git and CI/CD
• Strong understanding of Agile
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with security best practices and implementing security in applications.

Desirable skills

• React or Angular
• Experience of machine learning or AI
• Knowledge of Blockchain
• Experience with performance tuning or optimisation.

Ideally, we are looking for applicants who are local to Ipswich and willing to work from the office 2 days per week. We will also consider candidates on a fully remote basis within the UK.

Salary is up to £45K DOE + benefits
