As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with new and existing developer clients, and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with the leadership team to create a strategy that aligns with their company growth goals. Your insights and initiatives will directly contribute to their success in the competitive property investment market.
Key responsibilities of a Business Development Manager
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the property investment sector
- Opportunity Creation: Develop and implement strategies for sourcing new developer clients and investment opportunities through networking, industry events, and online platforms
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance their reputation and drive repeat business
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling investment proposals to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits of working with them
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute effective sales strategies that align with business objectives
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations with developer clients and partners to close deals that benefit both parties and align with the company’s vision
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends to provide insights for continuous improvement
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and finance, to ensure cohesive efforts in promoting their investment opportunities
- Brand: Actively work to promote the company's brand across national and international markets
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the property investment industry
- Strong understanding of the property market, investment strategies, and financial analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficient in using CRM software and other business development tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
