Overview:
This exciting opportunity is for a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker to join a successful and established team based in Luton. Main Duties:
- Provide whole-of-market mortgage advice to new and existing clients, including first-time buyers, home movers, and remortgages.
- Conduct thorough fact-finds and needs assessments to understand client requirements and recommend suitable mortgage products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Actively manage a pipeline of leads, including those generated through various channels such as builder relationships, property developers, referrals, and existing client networks.
- Utilize CRM systems to effectively track client interactions, manage leads, and monitor performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mortgage market trends, products, and regulatory changes.
- Work collaboratively with the existing team of Mortgage Advisors and Mortgage Brokers to share knowledge, best practices, and support each other.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring all advice is given ethically and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive a consistent flow of high-quality leads, averaging 15-20 per week.
- Work with an average mortgage loan size of £230k and typical proc fees of £900.
- Achieve monthly targets of 15+ mortgage applications with a high approval rate.
- Leverage remote working options to optimize productivity and flexibility.
- Commute to the Luton office 2-3 days a week
- Receive full administrative support, allowing you to focus on client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) is essential.
- CAS qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of success in a mortgage sales or advisory role (tied, independent, or banking).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in the use of CRM systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clean credit history and no criminal convictions.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
