Job Title: Commercial Property Solicitor (4+ Years PQE)

About the Role:
Our client, a prestigious and well-regarded law firm based in Central London, is looking to hire an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with 4+ years PQE to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will have strong experience in handling a diverse range of commercial property matters and will play a key role in managing high-value and complex transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, development agreements, and financing transactions.
- Provide high-quality legal advice to clients, including property investors, developers, landlords, and tenants.
- Draft and review a wide range of commercial property documents, including leases, agreements for lease, licenses, and service charge arrangements.
- Negotiate commercial property transactions and provide strategic advice on matters such as development schemes, joint ventures, and property management.
- Conduct due diligence and manage legal aspects of property acquisitions and disposals, including advising on title issues, planning, and environmental considerations.
- Work closely with clients, offering practical advice and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm, including corporate, tax, and construction teams, on cross-disciplinary matters.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, and best practices in commercial property law.
- Supervise junior lawyers and support staff as required.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years PQE in commercial property law.
- Solid experience in handling a range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, leases, development projects, and finance.
- Strong technical ability and an excellent understanding of commercial property law and relevant market trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to advise clients in a clear, concise, and commercial manner.
- Experience working with high-profile clients in sectors such as retail, hospitality, and real estate investment.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage a demanding caseload efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle complex legal matters independently.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively and mentor junior team members.
